JWF strives to:
· Monitor and expose human right violations in all forms
· Support victims of violence, torture, and abuse, and prosecute violators at the national, regional, and international levels
· Enhance the role of international human right tribunals, and work towards Lebanon's accession to the International Criminal court, which is an independent, permanent court that tries persons accused of serious crimes of international concern, including genocide, crimes against humanity , war crimes and crime of aggression
· Conduct specialized investigations and studies pertaining to relevant violations and prepare related reports
· Amend and elaborate laws in conformance with international treaties and conventions
· Promote democracy reform and rule of law
· Spread human rights education and raise awareness thereof
· Monitor trials, detect violations, and end impunity in all its aspects
· Protect and encourage human right activists and support them in developing their skills
