Awareness session for the General security Beirut
In the framework of raising awareness, Maitre Brigitte Chelebian, Director of "Justice Without Frontiers", discussed the Lebanese Protection Law, at the center of General Security Beirut, Wednesday 27 April 2016. The audience was about one hundred men and women members of the general security.
Maitre Chelebian targeted specifically the expenses, compensation and custody in case of the parent's separation when it comes to the Christian's religion.
The interaction plus the high number of the participants shows the positive effects and success of the session.  

Awareness session in The Lebanese University – Hadath Branch

"Justice Without Frontieres" organized an awareness session for the students of the Faculty of Law at the Lebanese University – Hadath Branch. The session was held on the 26th of February 2016 and was attended by the Director of the Faculty Dr. Hussein Obeid and his advisor Dr. Joseph Shreim and a representative of the "European Union”, in addition to a correspondent of “L'orient Le Jour" newspaper.
 
During the session, Dr. Maryline Karam explained the importance of women's rights in the International conventions and Personal status laws, and there was a discussion about some of the terms and conditions.
 
Then, the students had some interference where they presented poems and acting scenes highlighting the violence against women in our society.
 
Finally, the meeting was concluded with general recommendations.
 

Training for lawyers in the Beirut Bar Association 24-07-2015
On the 24th of July 2015, JWF gave a training at the Beirut bar association, to the lawyers members of the Beirut bar association about the protection law of Women and Family Members from Domestic Violence.
During the session, our psycho social officer Ms. Mia Koussaife gave a presentation about the definition of domestic violence and its consequences.
In addition, the director of JWF Me. Brigitte Chelebian introduced the protection law, how to obtain it and how it confronts the Lebanese personal status law.
On the other hand, Lieutenant Colonel Elie Al Asmar head of the Research and Lessons and the Commander of the Officers Academy, intervened and discussed with the attendees the role that plays the internal security officers in implementing this law.
Finally, the session was enclosed by distributing certificates on the attendees.

Training for lawyers in the Tripoli Bar Association 23-07-2015
On the 23rd of July 2015, and for the first time in the Tripoli Bar Association, with the support of its president Mr. Fahed Al Mouqadam, JWF gave a training to the lawyers associated in the Tripoli bar association about the protection law of Women and Family Members from Domestic Violence.
During the session, our psycho social officer Ms. Mia Koussaife gave a presentation about the definition of domestic violence and its consequences.

NDU NGO fair
Justice without Frontiers participated in the NGO fair that took place in the NDU University-Zouk Mosbeh in the 3rd and the 4th of June 2015. The main goal of the participation in this fair was to introduce Justice Without Frontiers to other people such as students, NGO representatives, and public figures.
In addition, some pictures were taken with people, while holding a frame titled “Women’s Access To Justice”, and holding some banners which were written on slogans such as “SOME WOMEN ARE BORN LEADERS” and many others.
JWF was supported by many public figures, mentioning:
Mrs. Lama Tammam Salam, who visited the NGO fair, and was very supportive of our cause concerning Women’s access to justice,
The British ambassador in Lebanon Mr. Tom Fletcher, who also showed interest in supporting our cause and specially the participation of the Lebanese women in the Lebanese parliament and their nomination to the Presidential elections,
The actor Georges Khabbaz who encouraged us to keep up with our cause and therefore help women to reach justice.
